Temptation of Wolves(늑대의 유혹)

Romance of Their Own (aka Temptation of Wolves or True Romance) is a 2004 South Korean film directed by Kim Tae-gyun, and based on a novel of the same name by Internet author Guiyeoni. Starring Jo Han-sun, Kang Dong-won and Lee Cheong-ah, the film is about an average high school girl who moves from the countryside to Seoul after her father’s death.

The heroine is type A (conservative and introverted) while her love interest is type B (passionate and irresponsible).

Synopsis: Hanna is a lip sync vocalist for Ami, the famous Korean pop singer. Welcome to the Quiet Room (“Quiet room ni yôkoso” – クワイエットルームにようこそ) is a Japanese movie released in 2007 in Japan, directed by Suzuki Matsuo. It is set in a psychiatric hospital. The movie stars Yuki Uchida in the main role, and features two famous movie and anime directors in secondary roles: Hideaki Anno and Shinya Tsukamoto.

The movie tells the story of Taishin Mamiya, a magazine editor who meets and interviews a young model, Noeru Kisaragi, and becomes sinfully attracted to him. Their love, however, is forbidden. The tagline of the movie is “All we did was love each other, but…our love is forbidden. Why is it a “sin”?”

Synopsis: The young and earnest Tomokazu (Saito Takumi) is in his third year of university and a member of the boxing team. He has a close friendship with freshman Yoshiki (Aiba Hiroki), whom he sees as a little brother.
The King and the Clown(왕의 남자)

The King and the Clown (왕의 남자, or Wang-ui namja) is a 2005 South Korean film, adapted from the 2000 Korean play titled “Yi”, (“You”) about Yeonsangun of Joseon, a Joseon dynasty king who falls in love with a court clown who mocks him. The movie is based on a small passage from the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty that briefly mentions the king’s favorite clown.
Heavenly Forest(ただ、君を愛してる)

Synopsis: Romance blooms between two awkward college freshmen in this surprisingly engaging entry into the otherwise increasingly formulaic “Pure Love” subgenre of romantic films. Heavenly Forest exceeds expectations in no small part due to the genuine chemistry between its two leads, both of whom deliver fine performances in their own right. Aoi Miyazaki fans will not be disappointed.

Virgin Snow (첫눈 – Cheonnun) is a 2007 South Korean film directed by Han Sang-hye and starring Korean popular actor, Lee Jun Ki and Japanese actress, Aoi Miyazaki.
NANA 1 & 2(ナナ)

Nana has been made into a film which was released on September 3, 2005. The film stars Mika Nakashima as the punk star Nana Osaki, and Aoi Miyazaki as Hachi (Nana Komatsu). The DVD edition was released on March 3, 2006. The film did quite well at the Japanese box office, grossing more than 4 billion yen, staying in the top 10 for several weeks.
Kamikaze Girls(下妻物語)

Kamikaze Girls, known in Japan as Shimotsuma Monogatari (下妻物語, Shimotsuma Monogatari? lit. Shimotsuma Story) is a light novel written by Novala Takemoto that has been adapted into a manga and film.
Kurosagi Movie(クロサギ)

Kurosagi is a film based on the 2006 popular TV series Kurosagi. Kurosagi is about a young man named Kurosaki who had his family destroyed by swindlers (con artists). When Kurosaki grows up, he becomes a swindler named Kurosagi, so that he can avenge his family. Ever since his family was destroyed by swindlers, Kurosagi swindles other con artists and returns the money to the victim.
Tokyo Tower(東京タワ) 2005

Synopsis: Based on a novel, this is a story about two university students who approach love and romance in their own way. Toru Kojima (Junichi Okada) and his friend Koji (Jun Matsumoto) are young student boys with one thing in common – they both love to date older women. Koji is a playboy with several women, young and older, whereas Toru is a romantic with his heart set on on certain lady.
Spider Lilies(刺青)

Spider Lilies (Chinese=刺青; pinyin= Cì Qīng; literally “Tattoo”) is a Taiwanese lesbian drama film, released in 2007. It is the second feature-length film by director Zero Chou, and stars Rainie Yang and Isabella Leong in the lead roles. Spider Lilies was screened at the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Teddy Award for best feature film. It was released in the United States by Wolfe Video on May 6, 2008.
Koizora(恋空) Movie vs. Drama

The cell phone short story Koizora: Setsunai Koi Monogatari (恋空~切ナイ恋物語?) was written by Mika, with 25 million readers by the end of the serialization. It was later published as a novel which sold approximately 2 million copies. The film adaptation was released in November 2007, with the gross revenue of 3.9 billion yen, with 3.14 million people attending the theater. The DVD was released on April 25th, 2008.
